New pics!

First of all, let me start by saying that I know I promised to keep this blog updated...and I have not done that. So instead of writing alot of the 'going ons', I will just post some new pics! I will make it a point to start writing more of what is happening with us.

Aryn..cheesy as always!

These pics were from Valentine's Day

Our little hoopster

Aryn and all her babies...so funny!

Girls nite with highschool friends

Payton Marie..look at those eyes!

Baby Isabella...2 months

Today, we have soccer sign ups for Aryn, shopping for outfits for pics tomorrow and then Brady's basketball game tonight. Busy, busy, busy! I am still doing my 5K training but I haven't really gotten to run much this week. I am really looking forward to 'Springing Forward' for more daylight so I can really get out there and exercise. Hope everyone is doing well! Love ya, Nicole!

Aryn's program

Aryn's class was picked to sing at the Family of the Year award luncheon. It was a really cute thing to watch the kids sing a couple of songs for this special family.

We also went to kindergarten Open House right before this...so there was alot of scambling and running around to make sure we got to both places on time!

Just catching up...

Saturday night IC played Christ The King in basketball. All the games were running behind so our 7 pm game didn't start until after 7:30 or so. CTK has not lost a game all year. IC is currently in 3rd place which is fine cause we aren't at the bottom. This game was really close the whole game, we were up and then down by 2 or 3 points. In the 3rd quarter, Will had 4 fouls...which is scary cause he is such a good defensive player, we couldn't afford to lose him. He managed NOT to foul out...which was awesome! Anyway, the 4th quarter gets here and in the last minute or so, we are down by 2. They foul Brady and he goes up for a 1 & 1 shot...makes the 1st one, misses the second one, ties the game up. Now at this time, I am running on pure adrenaline! Playing CTK always makes me crazy...not sure why! Here we are with our 7 boys up against their 12 or 13! So anyway, there are seconds left and Brady gets fouled again. But this time he gets 2 shots. So he misses the first one, makes the second one! We are now up by one and there are 1.5 seconds left on the clock and CTK couldn't come back! wooooohoooo! Our boys did it! They played their hearts out and we won the game!! I was so happy! That game was unbelievable...the gym was full and was so loud that it really just intensified the game!! So much fun!! I was so proud of Brady too. He was being coached by his daddy on one side and me screaming on the other...such a good kid! :)
Also, I joined a group that will prepare me to run a 5k. I have never been a runner but I have always wanted to get into it. 1) it is such good cardio and 2) I want some runners looking legs! :) So Sunday was my first time to go and I really enjoyed it. It was a little slow for me but I can see how it will work. So maybe sometime in April I will be running a 5K and having that body I really desire to have!!! Keeping my fingers crossed that I can stick with it and really challenge myself to finish!

My lack of blogging..

So i joined Facebook and quit blogging!! Why? Who knows!!! But I still love to blog and maybe once my obsession with it fades, I will update this page more...so sorry! But since I joined Facebook, I have got to 'see' old friends and their families..which is awesome! Friends that I would see every now and then, I find myself 'talking' to them on a daily basis, cracking up at all the funny highschool pics that are floating around of us at our not so flattering style of the 90's...but I love it! We are even planning a girls nite to catch up with friends from drill team..some are even coming in from out of town. So thanks to Emily for hosting this party that I am sure will be full of unforgettable memories and pics that will surface that maybe shouldn't!!! ha!
Nothing new is really going on with the kids. Brady is still playing basketball and we are in 3rd place..booo!!! But it has been a blast and we love that he is able to play with his friends and represent our school and church. I am trying to talk Aryn into playing soccer, so keep your fingers crossed that she will play. We never gave Brady a choice, we just signed him up and he loved to play...no matter what sport! So I might just have to do that with Ms. Aryn. :)
